6Moons Srajan is quite fond of his new Zu speakers, starting off originally with the Druids (pictured) and moving up to the $9k Definitions, and has almost brought himself to proclaim Zu the greatest speaker manufacturer in the world.

Do others agree or is Srajan just crazy? Stephaen Harrell of 6Moons does his own review of the $2800 Druids and, while waxing about the sonic superiority of these speakers, he also covers the inadequacy of FedEx, why wives are tyrants and provides a little lesson in Old Irish Gaelic. Oh, and he likes the Druids something fierce.

I heard these speakers ( Zu Druids ) at two different venues over one weekend. They were set-up by the owners, who were extremely nice and knowledgeable, and hooked up to three different amps. These speakers simply did not make music for me. Not a bit. At the same show(on the second day), I heard the new Omega loudspeakers, the M5. They were Far More enjoyable. Far more musical. Just toe-tappingly great. And a great value. I had huge hopes for the Druids too. I just didn't hear anything that made me want to pursue them further. Sorry all. Cheers, -Zimka

Howdy! I am getting a pair for a review at PFO - heard them at various shows and I think they have superb potential, but with all such high-end gear, setup and ancillary electronics are very important... I look forward to spending some time with them and a special SET setup...
