Ever heard of a loudspeaker company from South Africa? Well, now you have. Vivid Audio jumps into the already competitive mix with carbon-fiber composite enclosures, patent-pending drivers and funky design.
Designed by the man behind B&W's Nautilus speakers, the Vivid range comprises of two "tower" speakers and a center channel. Hi-Fi Choice has this to say:
"This is one of the most revealing and neutral speakers we`ve heard and a remarkable achievement for a new company. In many respects the price seems low for what`s on offer - go to Revel or Focal.JMlab and youíll pay an extra 30% for a competing product."
That's good to know. Prices and distribution in the states is unclear, but the B1 speaker goes for 6,900 British pounds.
