Audio/Video Revolution takes a look at the Polk Audio Monitor 5.1 series and, priced at $1330 for the whole package, provide some stylish speakers and "quality" sound. Are they any good? AV Revolution says anyone who isn't terribly into tweaking or wading through demos will find the Polks an easy pick because, simply, they just do everything fairly well. If everything on this site is alien and just downright scary to you, the Polks may be a good safe bet. But let me warn you - if you're an aspiring audiophile, it's criminal to let the likes of Polk slum it up in your living room, they're just too bourgeois.
