 Pathos-Logos

Pathos Acoustics brings the Italian treatment to integrated amps with their $4795 Logos. If you haven't seen these products in the flesh, well, let's just say pictures doesn't do them justice. They're hot like Italian cars, Italian clothing and Italian models. Sound? Does it matter? Stereo Times says this:

It is the most beautiful integrated I have laid eyes on and truly draws the listener into its orb, with its cosmetic beauty and its mid to upper delicacy and naturalness second to none.

If you didn't notice, the volume knob is actually a wheel with the center portion the volume level. The center stays stationary while you spin the outer portion. Oh, and did you notice the heat sinks on the side spell "PATHOS PATHOS PATHOS"? Cool, cool, cool.

That's the most beautiful?!! :) The aluminum is a rather poor match for dark wood. Black chassis maybe... Also, the angles in the entire chassis clash and look very esthetically displeasing.
I was very smitten when I saw the Pathos gear at CES. But, hey, it's all personal preference. Actually, an interesting subject for an aticle/roundup would be hi-fi's most beautiful equipment. Any contenders?
henryp, probarbly can't afford it,I have a logos and even the wife think's it's a beaut to look at,let alone the sound. other pretty items will have to be the project rpm.9x turntable and the sonus faber domus speakers.
