If you aren't removing the vibration of your components, you don't know what you're missing. Pandafeet by Pandathumb (yes, that's their name) are tiny blobs you stick under your gear to kill vibrations that muck up your sound. We posted on the Vibrapods earlier, but unlike the Vibrapods' use of more common plastics, Pandafeet use sorbothane, widely considered the cat's meow of isolation compounds, converting mechanical energy to heat. There are other companies out there making sorthobane nubs, but Pandafeet uses a wider shape which, they claim, improves stability and isolation over the usual dome shape.
Prices run a super cheap $5 a foot and, like any vibration device, be sure to buy the correct footer for the weight of your gear. At 5 clams, you can put these guys under every piece of gear and, as all reviews say, will be the cheapest, most effective upgrade to your system you'll ever make. Check out the site for a very helpful amount of technical information, the science that goes behind vibration control and reviews of the Pandafeet.
