 Audioreviews Redwine3 Intro
Mr. Lavorgna over at 6Moons rocks a package system from the dynamic duo of Omega Loudspeakers and Red Wine audio. The Omega/Red Wine combo was created to work as a team both sonically and aesthetically. Keep reading for more...

Lavorgna says this of the pair:

The Visaton B200s are super fast, detailed and have impressive frequency extension in the Omega Aperiodic cabinet. I would describe their overall tonal balance as fat (or phat if you prefer). The Lotus amp is dead silent, super fast and really a master at micro-detail retrieval.

Omega/Red Wine have that whole micro power, high-efficiency game going on. Red Wine blew up the scene with their Clari-T integrated while Omega has been getting lavish praise for their single driver speakers. Silver cables are included in the package that, as the review points out, were intelligently picked out. Also shown in the picture is the Lotus platform to kill isolations.

Specs are 52-18k Hz and 95dB sensitivity. The Lotus amp has 6 watts of tripath juice. We previously covered the smaller Omega/Red Wine combo the Mini-Me/Clari-T system and the Omega $1299 Hemptone speakers as well as Red Wine's Squeezebox 3 mod.

Price for the Omega Visaton Ampheriodic 8 starts at $1099. The Red Wine Lotus preamp/amp combo goes for $1998 in matching finishes. Platform at $250, cables $720/8' pr, $290/ 1 meter pr and, finally, the Skylan stands clock in at $350pr. Also in the 6Moons review is a brief look at the Squeezebox 3 modification.

Oh, and buy any speaker/amp combo and get $100 off.
