Monitor Audio has upgraded their Silver S line to "RS" status. The "R" adds upgrades to Monitor Audio's C-CAM aluminum magnesium drivers as well as other trickle-down technologies from their Gold series.
Monitor Audio is a british company who has managed to make a splash in the states. If memory serves, their speakers are prominently featured in Good Guys, which is a pretty impressive feat. And it doesn't hurt to have excellent reviews across the board, from their Gold series down to their segment-defining Bronze series.
Prices are $849 for the bookshelf, $1499 for the midsize floorstander and $2299 for the flagship. Also included are LCR surrounds at $749 and rear di-/bi-poles at $999. A 12-inch sub rounds out the line at $1299. Five different finishes are available.
