Here's another crossover pro speaker company like ATC and PMC bringing their hyper-detailed speakers to the home market. New US company Lapinski makes the L-707 and L-505 speakers using the Vifa nipple tweeter so popular these days. Surrounding the time-aligned tweeter is an unusual foam fascia found in a minority of other companies such as Green Mountain Audio. If you're into tweaky, technical stuff, this company is way up there. Definitely interesting to read which technologies they consider inferior.

In any case, Stereophile's recent review gave these guys lots of love for their unbelievable levels of accuracy and clarity. Indeed, if published specs are anything to go by, The L-707's frequency response is 56-20k Hz +/- 1dB. For those new here, the +/- 1dB essentially means crazy accuracy. Overall frequency response is +/- 3dB for 31-40k Hz which is where most companies would push their specs. 31Hz for a sealed bookshelf? Wow.

The little brother L-505 goes for $2990/pair and the L-707 goes for $5990/pair (or $4590 according to Stereophile). Go check this out to see which much more expensive speakers certain recording studios replaced with the Lipinskis. Notches on the sword hilt, I love it.
