We pause our CES/THE coverage to bring you something that sets our little iPod-saturated hearts aflutter: the DLO Homedock Deluxe (above) and the Griffin TuneCenter (below). Now, what makes these little iPod docks special is there ability to control your iPod's music, pictures and movies directly from your 102" plasma screen (or 15" crt, in my case). Plug the sucker in and you've got a cheap, killer jukebox.
Details are a little iffy on the DLO at the moment but the Griffin TuneCenter advertises full video control and playback as well as music and pictures. Additionally, the TuneCenter sports wifi and ethernet connections to hook you into streaming internet radio stations.
The DLO HomeDock goes for $150 while the Griffin TuneCenter is $100. Both are available in March. It looks like the Griffin is the hands down winner on features and price. Both sport RCA, S-vid, USB. If the number of exhibitors using iPods at CES/THE this year is any indication, expect to see a number of these docks rocking in big rigs at Vegas a year from now.
