GuangZhou AV Fair is the biggest event of its kind in China -- you can tell it's an audio
expo by the male to female ratio of, oh, 500 to 2 (and I think the one in the red is a "booth babe" and the other is high as a kite).
Keep reading for all kinds of Chinese wackiness and a damn lot of American and Euro manufacturers showing their babies...actually, it seems there is more Western gear at the GZAVF than home-grown. What's up with that?
First off, HUGE Krell fan 6Moons Srajan talks up the new Krell integrated over at his site and on Audio Asylum. The "F.B.I" appears to be a lower priced offshoot of their statement $90k Evolution preamp/amp combo. Don't be surprised if the "2006" is actually power output into 8 ohms.
Here's Krell again with their Evolution series powering the $100k (if memory serves) Eggleston Works Ivys. Actually, Krell is bi-amping the Ivys. So, yeah, $80k of amplification for a total of 1800 watts.
