This is it folks, the new Griffin Technology Universal iPod Transmitter HA! say that ten times fast! Kidding aside, this looks to fit just about any iPod from Generation III on up, at least thats what the website claims. Looks pretty cool and nifty, though I have my strong reservation about FM transmitters, particularly in the hellish Los Angeles area. I own the not-as-fancy-looking FM transmitter from Belkin and must say that it works absolutely not as its advertised, at least here in LA. There's way too much noise interference from close by stations and even when you do find a spot (107.3 for example) you aren't guaranteed continuous trouble free reception throughout your driving area. Many times I have to change the frequency - sonically you get lots of noise and hardly any fidelity - hey, you want at least some fidelity! Fidelity is a good thing. Who knows, maybe the chaps at Griffin have something up their sleeves...
