These strange ducks are the FJ Oms from Germany. Standing only 28" tall, the tweeter fires right at you while the 6.75" driver shoots upward, sending sound everywhere like a water fountain. What's the point?

That's what quasi-omni speakers are all about. Funny, the Mirage Omnisat V2 does the omni game exactly the opposite -- omni tweeter with direct firing woofers. Go figure. Price is $4000 for 50Hz to 20kHz +/- 2dB. These guys also make traditional speakers for those with neighbors upstairs.
