Sound and Vision throws three HT packages into the ring and only one comes out -- the Aperion Intimus 532. Cheaper, sexier and just better sounding, the Aperion Intimus 532 system (pictured) clocks in at $1339, provides real wood veneer, a 3 way center and better subwoofer integration. They also include a free sound level meter and guides on how to set up your system as well as white gloves so as not to tarnish the finish. Classy.

Closest competitor was the Wharfedale Diamond at $1400 but, alas, just couldn't match the Aperion in any area. In last place is the most expensive of the bunch, the $1410 Atlantic Tech System 1200.
